This data repository contains the project folders and data sets developed for the "traffic-related air pollution (TRAP) and the burden of childhood asthma projects".

There are (3) Project guides, (3) Project folders, (3) Project input data folders (contains all raw data sets) and (8) Project output data sets.

The three main projects:

(1) Asthma incidence rate estimation project (TTI-AsthmaIR_Project.zip)

(2) National burden of disease assessment project (TTI-BoD_Project.zip)

(3) State-specific burden of disease assessment project (TTI-StateBoD_Project.zip)

Each project has a corresponding "Project Guide" file and "Input" folder. The "Project Guide" files are visual guides for the input data, flow of scripts and outputs for each project. The "Input" folders contain the raw input data sets for each project folder. 

Steps to run the project:

1- Download the "Project" folders

2- Download the "Input" folders

3- Extract the "Project" folder

4- Extract the "Input" folder and move it inside the "Project" folder

5- Extract the "Project Guides"

6- Run the scripts as shown in the "Project Guide"

The (8) Project output data sets are the output data sets of the burden estimates project at various geographical levels. They contain the following data: population counts, household median income, urban or rural living location status, air pollution concentrations, and burden of disease estimates.
